Woman's Christian Temperance Union Meeting Minutes Book 1925

What an exciting way to spend a beautiful summer evening: reading the minutes of the Monongahela Woman’s Christian Temperance Union from 1925.

I found this flyer in the pages of the book. Don’t you love the art deco font? The library was just about to close when I discovered it so I’ll have to go back for another visit. It’s a shame all this stuff isn’t digitized and posted online so people could access it more easily. TEN MILE CREEK COUNTRY A delightful history blog about the Ten Mile Creek area, just a little upstream from us on the Monongahela River. The author has a lucid writing style to which I can only aspire.
